The program constructs a thematic map in the form of a hexagonal grid based on positive and negative environmental impact factors in the selected area. When creating the thematic map, the chosen fragment of the map is covered by a network of hexagonal cells of equal area, containing objects of interest.
The choice of hexagonal cell shape is explained by the more uniform structure of connections between neighboring cells: each hexagonal cell has 6 neighboring cells, with equal distance to the centers of adjacent cells.
