Style Editing Mode is a tool for creating and editing symbol description styles and assigning them to selected object lists.
The list of styles is presented as a tree of thematic style sets. Style files are located in the directory: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Panorama\styles\. When creating themes, subdirectories are generated with the same names and hierarchy as in the tree.
To rename a theme/style, press and hold the left mouse button (LMB) on the name in the tree.
A style description consists of a set of object types by localization: — Linear — Areal — Point — Vector — Label
For each localization, you can assign either a simple (default) or a complex appearance using the following editing modes:
When adding a style, the name and symbol appearance are assigned automatically.
To assign a style to an object list, click Assign or double-click the style name in the tree. For object lists, Point and Vector localizations are merged into a single appearance. The Point appearance is used as a raster background. If only one appearance is needed, the second can be cleared using the Clear Appearance mode.
When editing an appearance, a backup of the style file is created with a "~" added to the name. Example: style1.style → style1.style~
When opening the dialog, if styles have already been created or copied into C:\Users\Public\Documents\Panorama\styles\, they will be automatically loaded along with all subdirectories relative to the styles folder.
