Execution of the program |
After entering the input parametres and activation of the program execution the process of periodic poll of a status of the source folder is started. At occurrence of files in the source folder their preliminary analysis is made. To the further processing there are exposed only the data of registered formats having a geospatial binding which can be processed in an automatic mode. Other files will be ignored. Further there are defined the structure of the data set, its format, belonging to the group of DBDM, the structure of the metadata is formed. Then the set is transferred into DBDM, new record in base of the metadata is formed and the corresponding scheme of the data presence in DBDM is updated. Many formats of files suppose placing the data in several files. For example, one digital vector map in the MIF\MID format may consist of two types of files (MIF and MID), digital vector map in SHP format may include four types of files (SHP, DBF, SHX, PRJ). Thus, the total number of files of each type, which belong to one set, can be from one to several hundred. One set is a group of files with the same name and different extensions. Set processing begins from identification of the main file (in accordance with the registration in the table of formats). In the beginning into DBDM the main file is transferred, and after it other files of a set. Therefore if by the time of completion of processing the main file not all files of a set will be located in the source folder, they can be not processed. In this connection at placing the data set into a temporary server storehouse it is necessary to provide strictly observance of the following rule: «The main file of a set is copied into a temporary server storehouse by the last one, after end of copying of the rest files of a set».
