Load coordinates from file Microsoft Office Excel (*.XLS)

This mode is intended for drawing objects on a map from file Microsoft Office Excel (*.XLS).

 For an execution of loading it is necessary to fill the information:

 1. Name of a map on which the objects will be created.

 2. Units of measurements in which coordinates of objects in Excel file are set (meters, radians, degrees, national aviation - coordinates are given in degrees in a text kind with the indication of latitude and a longitude (xxzz,s N(S); xxxzz,s E(W)), WGS84(degrees)).

 3. Name of file Microsoft Office Excel (*.xls).

 4. To specify number of first and last row of the table, containing data.

 5. Creation mode of map objects.

 At the included button "Single-typed objects" it is supposed that all records in a file belong to objects of one style which is chosen from the classifier.

 Further in the Map object selection dialog it is necessary:

 - to choose type;

 - to choose layer;

 - to choose style of object (the example of the image of the chosen object is in Image window);

 - to press Ok button.

 At the included button Type from key it is supposed, that the file contains a column in which unique names of objects from the classifier (keys) are set.

 6. Standard names of columns in Microsoft Office Excel (A, B, C …), containing X, Y coordinates of object. If the created object should have the characteristic of height (non-obligatory parameter) it is necessary to choose a name of a column in which the height in meters (H coordinate) is set.

 7. Name of a column of object number (vestige). Data in this column should be identical for all records which belong to one object, and these records in a file should be located one after another. According to amount of metrics points, for creation of linear object of such records should be two and more, for polygon - three and more, for vector - two, for point - one. The first such record should contain columns with the filled information on object (key, semantics).

 If the name of a column of object number (vestige) is not specified, creation of only point's objects is possible.

 8. If the object of signature type is created, then the name of a column is indicated, in which the text of the signature is set is indicated.

 9. To save or not save into the log file. With a view of increase of quick-action at stream creation of objects it is recommended to not write down into the transactions log.

 10. If the created object should have semantic characteristics (non-obligatory parameter) it is necessary:

 - press Add button. Into the list of semantic characteristics the record will be added, in which the fields values: Semantics name and Column name are unknown.

 - choose values of fields: Semantics name and Column name.

 Semantics name (Column name) gets out of the list which becomes accessible after pressing the left button of the mouse in the given field.

 If all parameters are filled correctly, Create button becomes active.
