Continuing digitizing (expanding) of line object

To expand (continue digitizing line object) select it. As a result the cursor is located at the last object vertex (pursuant to its direction of digitization).

If you need to add vertices to the opposite direction press D key. Continuing digitizing line object is similar to creation of a new line object.  All additional object creation modes are available.
