One of the important tasks in the processing of electronic maps is to update the map data based on the results of field measurements. When carrying out field work, an agronomist can take with him a mobile device (tablet) on which the Workstation of agronomist software is loaded with a working set of maps. On these maps, you can immediately clarify the borders of the working areas of the fields, apply new areas, and also enter the semantic characteristics of the fields for various soil measurements.

To create offline maps of working set, as well as to transfer geoinformation data to a map for shared use, the «Collecting field measurements» mode is intended ic_1069. The mode provides a two-way data update:

- creation of an offline map according to data of collective one (export to offline map);

- updating the collective map according to the offline map (import from the offline map).

A collective map is a farmland map that is used for stationary work in an enterprise office. The collective map is taken as a basis for creating offline maps that are downloaded to the tablet. After the field work, the data is imported into the collective map of the enterprise and the database of Passports of fields.
