Create plan

Plan (Large-scale plan) is a usual electronic map, but slightly simplified.

In system the Panorama is understood as the Map the digital information on a site of the district, presented in standard projections, system of coordinates and heights, a division, having standard scale and the name (nomenclature).

As an example topographical, geographical, blank maps can serve, etc. It is natural, that at the passport of such map there is all this information and much more additional data describing the given map. If you, for example, create the electronic plan of a floor of an office building, the tourist scheme of Lipetsk area or the large-scale Cadastral plan having the own (local) system of coordinates, it is easier for you to create Plan instead of Map As a result, you receive a usual electronic map, but with smaller expenses (some fields of the passport are filled automatically).  

At creation of the plan the main thing - to understand the system of coordinates.

If you create the large-scale cadastral plan, the coordinates of frame corners should be taken from source maps-materials.

If you have decided to create any scheme or the plan, unlimited on an initial material by a frame, for which the rectangular coordinates of corners in any system of coordinates are known, then you should introduce the own system of coordinates of vectorized document. For this purpose you need to do following actions before scanning an initial material:  

- to limit your initial material by a frame (preferably rectangular);

- to the lower left (southwest) corner of this frame to assign the values of coordinates equal to 0,0;

- to define scale of the image of source material (approximately).

To measure lengths of the sides of a rectangle and to convert the received results into meters in view of scale of the image.

For example, if the scale is 1: 500 and the length of the sides of the rectangle are 25 cm (height) x 50 cm (width), creating the passport plan, you can enter the following coordinates values of frame corners:

X southwest = 0.0, Ysouthwest = 0.0,

X northwest = 125.0 Y northwest = 0.0,  

X northeast = 125.0 Y northeast = 250.0,

X southeast = 0.0 Y southeast = 250.0.

If it is necessary to create the plan which size is defined by format of a standard sheet (A0 - A4) it is required to set coordinates of lower left (south - west) corner of a frame and to choose the size and orientation of a sheet.          

Besides coordinates of frame corners at creation of the plan passport it is necessary to enter value of a denominator of image scale (in our case 500) and to specify the classifier which will be base for a created map.

If the created region should consist of several sheets, then at first the separate sheets are created, and already then they are united into Work region.
