This program is intended to download files from an exchange format of cadastral data CAD and ZEM into the internal format of the GIS.

Cadastral data are presented in a digital form, as ASCII text files containing the graphic (metric) and semantic information.

The task can process ZEM files of version 2.0 and above and CAD files of version 4.0 and above, used in the conduct of the State Cadastre of Bulgaria.

The program represents the library zemtomap.dll. Start of the converter is performed via the menu item Tools/Run application.

The operating procedure at downloading information from format CAD/ZEM:

1. Run the program, in the appeared dialog as input data in the field «Input file» to set file CAD/ZEM. The name of a map will automatically be written from an input file.

2.  Specify a file name of the resources classifier - a name of RSC file.

3. Specify in the «Map» field a new name of the user map (by default a name of the user map is the same, as well as at the file CAD/ZEM).

4. Specify the name of the project's file (by default the name of the project's file is same, as at file CAD/ZEM, the file of the project is written into the folder with tables of databases).

5. To press Execute button to start the process of downloading information from the file CAD/ZEM.

During loading the information the user can stop process, having pressed the Interrupt button.

After download is completed the vector map opens, into which occurred the data loading from the format of CAD/ZEM. The semantic information is stored in tables of databases. Filenames of tables (files .dbf) and names of fields correspond to names of tables and fields in files CAD/ZEM. Tables are saved into the directory BASE_map name. Into this directory the file of the project is saved in which the all created tables and interrelation between them register.

To unload the metric information, i.e. to record the objects onto a map, use a text file of re-coding cadcode.txt. This file specifies the conformity between codes of format CAD/ZEM and keys of the classifier map5000.rsc. The file of code conversion should be in the catalog with library.

The output map has type «Large-scale plan», the scale of the user map is set from file CAD/ZEM.

Information about the number of the loaded objects and errors at loading data is written into .log file.
