Photoplans

Photoplans are used for a topographic-geodetic binding the elements of battle order of troops, definition of targets coordinates.

They are made by the digital topographic maps, remote sensing data, materials of field geodetic works.

The photoplan is the photographic image of terrain received by assembly of transformed aerial photographs, as a rule, within the limits of nomenclature trapezoids. On the photoplan the sides of a trapeze framework are created, a coordinate grid is drawn, names of the main elements of the terrain are signed, etc.

They are intended for detailed studying of the terrain and determining coordinates of various objects with high accuracy.

They are made in scales 1:25 000,1:50 000 and 1:100 000.
