Drawing of standard division of topographical maps

Procedure is intended for making rule, i.e. sheet division (the image of borders of nomenclature sheets) of topographic maps onto existing digital map. Making rule consists in automatic creation of a new user map with a name specified by the operator and drawing onto it of objects - borders of sheets of a division in accordance with the specified mode of processing.

At creation of user map "by default" the classifier MapRule.rsc is used that is included into installation of system.      

If you need to create a list of nomenclatures of division sheets in the form of a text file, it is necessary to specify a name of this file in the LIST field .

If you need to form a list of region's loading (DIR-file), it is necessary to specify a name of this file in the field a DIR-file.

Sheet division can be formed with Not grouping (not making the formation of doubled, triple and quadruple sheets, all sheets regardless of latitude to build as single one).      

Rule can be formed «On all map» (area of overall border of open background map), «On region» (the rectangular area, specified on a map) or «On object».

If on a map a polygon object is selected, the sheets containing in the selected object will be formed.

If on a map the linear object is chosen, the sheets will be formed crossing (or containing) the selected object object.

In all other cases the sheets containing selected object will be formed.

In the mode «Standard» you can build a scheme of nomenclature sheets in accordance with the list containing in a text file.

To avoid ambiguities, it is recommended after the nomenclature in the list to specify the map scale, e.g.:

N-37-123-1 50000

In this example N-37-123-1 defines the nomenclature of sheet of scale 50000.

For topographic maps of Socialist Republic of Vietnam the record in a text file looks like this:

NF-48-12 250000, where NF-48-12 - the nomenclature of sheet of scale 250000.

The signature of nomenclatures of sheets on a map can be executed in full or in a short form. It is convenient, when formation of index map on several scales is carried out at once.
