The task is intended for creating nomenclature sheets of digital topographic maps of Vietnam in the form of region MPT by the open geo-positioned maps loaded from a database or Shape.
The task is executed by the Mapcreatvn.dll module, which is called via the Run Application item of the Tools menu.
A new data set is created in a separate directory [newmap]. Map name and passport data for a new map are formed of the source (open) map. List of created sheets is displayed in the dialogue box.
Nomenclature for sheets is selected from the semantics of objects. Semantics with the sheet's nomenclature should be necessarily specified in dialog. For maps of Vietnam the semantics code is 5003.
During the execution of the task, the objects of the open map are copied into a new map. Creation of nomenclature sheets is carried out in the presence of objects of the corresponding nomenclature. Some nomenclatures are led to a standard kind of Vietnam's nomenclatures, for example 6732_2_TN will be converted to 6732-II-TN. Objects that do not have a nomenclature in the semantics are written by coordinates into one of the created sheets. Sheets with incorrect nomenclatures are not formed, objects are not copied. The numbers of the erroneous nomenclatures will be indicated in the message when the program is terminated.
Result of the program's execution is the MPT map which contains nomenclature sheets depending on the types specified in the dialog window - MAP, SIT, SITX.
