Filtering data

Generally for displaying data in the form of the list the information must be requested by the certain criteria. Then the obtained data may be filtered by additional criteria.

Filter of data is prepared in the form «Editing the filter parameters»:

To call the dialog of forming the conditions of data filter, click the button .

This dialog allows to form complex criteria of selection. At its activation the list of permitted fields for formation of the filter is automatically formed.

Select a required field, click the left mouse button twice or click the button - «Add a current field into filter». In the bottom window there will appear a record containing by default a name of a field, a condition of selection, operation, opening and closing brackets.

The user must specify a value by which records will be selected. If necessary replace the condition of selection, operation, delete, or add brackets. The number of opening and closing brackets should be the same. During formation of the filter the user has an opportunity to view its text. In the process of forming the filter the user can view the text. To do this, click the left mouse button on a window containing a list of filter records, and press F11.

Customized parameters of the filter can be saved. Specify the name of the query and click the button - «Save current filter parameters». For viewing the list of named filters, their deletings, renaming, press the button .

After conditions of filtering are formed, click «Apply» button.

At work with named filters it is necessary to keep the following rules:

- Parameters of the filter are saved only after pressing the button .

- The new name of the filter can be entered only after input of conditions of filtering.

Reset of conditions of filtering occurs by repeated pressing the button .
