Choice of object sample

Previous Top Next

Object creation begins from choice of object sample, its type (polygon, line, vector, point, title, mixed (template)), and also way of object creation. Mapping sample of selected object is represented in an auxiliary window. If necessary it is possible to execute fast searching of the necessary object by its name or classification code.

It is recommended to do choice of created object sample in the following order:

- To set a map, on which one the object will be put. It is necessary for making only in case if one or several user's maps lies on the main map (as by this mode it is possible to plot object not only on map, but also on any of user's one). It is connected also that the main map and lying on it user's maps can have completely miscellaneous libraries of conventional symbols  (digital classifier).

- To set type of created object.

- To set a mapping layer, to which one the created object belongs to.

- To select the object from an objects name list.

- To select a plotting way of object on a map. It can be an arbitrary contour, inclined, horizontal or combined rectangle, circle of fixed or arbitrary radius, parallel line. Besides you can directly enter coordinates of objects points from the keyboard or load them from the beforehand built text file.

- To set (or to reset) a writing method of object semantics (repeat of semantics). The cancellation of semantics repeat means, that after object creation the program will offer you to change base semantics for the built object. Base semantics for created objects of a selected type is entered at once after choice of object sample. The repeat of semantics is expedient for applying at creation of objects having absolutely identical semantics. At creation of objects with differences in semantics (for horizontals the value of a true altitude variously for miscellaneous objects) is necessary to disconnect repeat of semantics.

- To press Select button.

At simultaneous pressing the key CTRL and the mouse manipulator in a list of types and   layers it  is possible to select some values.

Thus the objects list will contain objects conforming to the selected data. For example, if you select all types and all layers, the objects list will contain all objects of the classifier.
