Creation of a set of objects in models

Previous Top Next

The work with a set of objects implements by using of an overall dimensions frame in which one the all set is placed. To change position and sizes of a frame and accordingly a set you can execute by mouse cursor moving with the pressed left mouse button. Thus there are three modes of a repositioning of a frame, each of which is accompanied by a definite sort of the cursor:

- change of overall dimensions;

- moving;

- rotation.

For change of overall dimensions of a frame it is necessary to place the mouse cursor on one of chips. If the cursor is on angular chip the overall dimensions vary in two directions (on height and width). If the cursor is on chip arranged on one of the sides the overall dimensions vary in one direction (on height or on width).

At mouse cursor movement with the pressed left mouse button a shift of a frame without change of its overall dimensions take place.

To pass into a rotation mode it is necessary to press the ALT key at mouse cursor moving. Directly rotation is executed at pressing ALT key and mouse cursor movement with the pressed left mouse button.

Moving of cursor with the released button does not change a frame overall dimensions position.

It is recommended to do rough frame positioning by mouse and to use arrow keys along with pressed left mouse button for precise frame positioning.  Fixing of the object set is made at the moment of completion of executed operation.

Use Scale and rotate object mode (of Map Editor) to change position of one object from a set.

If in Map Editor Options the work with sets (Editing object group) is switched off you must simply select this object. If in Map Editor Options the work with sets is included you must answer "no" to the question: " To edit all objects? " after selection of object.
