Stream data loading

The program of stream data loading is intended for automatic formation and maintenance in an actual condition of bank of the spatial data including digital maps in SXF format onto territory of  of Russian regions and CIS countries. The source of the data are sets in ShapeFile format, formed from OpenStreetMap data and posted on the GIS-Lab (http://gis-lab.info/).

Output data is a set of maps in SXF format.

Besides, in a working folder after processing there is a complete set of maps in the internal format of the GIS «Panorama 11».

Internal parametres of the program are configured onto structure of databases as of 5/25/2012.

For program performance necessarily presence of the installed program - archiver 7z.

Generally an order of forming a databank is the following:

1. Create folders on your hard disk:

 - folder for storage of source archives (into which the 7z-archives of data sets loaded from GIS-Lab site will be placed);

 - the working folder in which the deployment of archives, converting and data processing will be made;

 - folder for placing the generated data sets (maps) in SXF format.

2. Start the program and perform the primary configuration of parametres:

 - specify paths to the generated folders;

 - edit (if necessary) the list of downloaded regions (by default the list contains a complete set of data, presented on site GIS-Lab);

 - customize (if necessary) processing modes;

 - start the program for running.

At restart of the program the previously entered parameters are automatically restored.

Data processing can be performed in two ways:

1.Preliminarily by standard masters of download you must download data sets into a folder intended for source archives and execute the program with the included option «Process the archives available in a folder».

2.Prepare an empty folder, and perform the program with the included option «Download from Gis-Lab and load sets according to the list».

The first way is more preferable at unreliable Internet connection.

In the course of work the program performs the following processes:

1. Downloading the sets (7z-archives) according to the list and their placing into a folder for source archives (till all sets will be downloaded, the further processing will not run).

2.Sequential processing of sets including:

 - formation in a working folder of a subdirectory with a name of a loaded set, placing into it and archive deployment;

 - formation in the created subdirectory of a folder with name MAP;

 - map formation in MAP folder, the converting from format ShapeFile and sorting (in the course of performance of this stage the process progress bar "runs" twice);

 - signing the streets;

 - signing the buildings;

 - decoding the points of POI;

 - designing the crossroads;

 - final sorting of a map;

 - unloading a map into SXF format and putting it into the folder, specified for SXF storing.
