Map of exchange format MIF / MID

Exchange Format MIF/MID is submitted by ASCII-text files that describe the coordinates, attributes and appearance (graphical representation) of map objects. One pair of files MIF/MID represents a map layer that contains a set of vector data: point, linear, areal. Map in MIF/MID format may consist of several layers, ie several files pairs of exchange format MIF/MID.
