Division of a map onto printed pages

The task carries out spacing of the data of electronic map (vector, raster and matrix maps) onto a set of map fragments (pages) according to the established page parameters.

Pages are created in ../PAGES subdirectory of directory of the basic document. To page its serial number n is appropriated, its data are located in separate directory PAGEn, the file of a vector map of page has name PAGEn.SIT.

In a general view the way to the data of page n looks like: <a way to the document> \PAGES\PAGEn\PAGEn. SIT.

Files of pages of the user, raster and matrix maps of the document are located in directories of corresponding pages, their names are formed by addition of PAGEn prefix to a name of the source file of the data: PAGEn <name sit>, PAGEn <name rsw>, PAGEn <name mtw>

Pages can be formed for a map entirely or for its chosen site. Spacing is carried out from the left top corner of a map or a fragment. The chart of pages layout on a map has name PAGESCHART.SIT and is created in a subdirectory ..\PAGES\PAGESCHART. Into maps of pages and into the chart of pages layout the marginal representation can be added.

Depending on an layout of the map data on a paper, two ways of pages formation are possible:

- double-sided layout (atlas);

- one-sided layout (album).

In a directory of the chart of pages layout ..\PAGES\PAGESCHART the maps project file mappages.mpt, containing the list of formed data of a map is created. Opening of the project is carried out through item of main menu File\Open.

Saving and restoration of the task parameters in INI-file of the basic document of an electronic map is carried out.
