ic_787 In the process of generalization of objects of small length or the area, the linear and square objects of a map are processed.

Degree of smallness of lengths is determined by the specified in the task's parameters the characteristic the Minimum length (mm on map), degree малости the areas - the characteristic the Minimum square (sq.mm on map).

At processing of objects the following processes are performed:

- uniting the linear non-closed objects of small length;

- uniting the square objects of small area;

- replacement of type of linear and square objects by point objects.

Nearby linear non-closed objects of small length of one type and square objects of one type are united.

Uniting the linear objects is carried out at placing in the closeness tolerance between the end points of the metrics (Distance for line union (mm on map) characteristic).

Uniting the square objects is carried out at placing in the the closeness tolerance of objects themselves (Distance for area union (mm on map) characteristic).

Ununited objects of small length or area are converted into point objects according to the table of recoding. The table of recoding is contained in the file with the ISM extension.

The dialog contains a table of recoding (the table of conformity of keys of linear and areal objects to the point objects) and fields of editing:

-  minimum length of object;

-  minimum area of the object;

-  distance for line union (mm on map);

-  distance for area union (mm on map).

The dialog allows you to prepare several tables of recoding with different models of conditions. All models are saved in one file of generalization parameters for small objects (the structure of Initialization file is expanded). Addition of additional models of conditions is carried out by clicking the Add table button. When you click the Delete table button, the last table is deleted.

In the beginning of execution of the task the copy of the source map is automatically saved into a SXF-file with addition to the name of sequence number of a current stage.

The analysis of quality of the output map is carried out on the basis of the error log (messages) received upon termination of forming a nomenclature sheet of a map of destination scale, in the dialog the Map Editor / View error.
