Change of contents of displayed map objects

ic_8013  The dialog window Map contents is used in Panorama system to set criteria of selecting the objects of a map at displaying. They are:

- layers of a map and types of objects (localization);

- kinds of objects;

- list of nomenclature sheets;

- range of objects numbers (IDs);

- semantic characteristics of objects;

- spatial characteristics of objects.

Full composition of the map layers, types of objects, kinds of objects, semantic characteristics and their values is defined by the Classifier of map resources specified for the given map.

To set the list of displayed layers and types of map objects, it is necessary to make active the Layers bookmark of Map contents dialog and to set/reset a highlighting of lines in the list of layers and in the list of objects types.

For a choice of objects kinds it is necessary to choose the Objects bookmark of of Map contents dialog and to set/reset a highlighting of lines in the list of map objects. Parameters of selection of graphic objects set an order of selecting the objects which do not have the descriptions in the map classifier.

Possible options of selecting graphic objects are in the list:

- Select all objects (all objects available in a map are checked);

- Select draw objects only (only graphic objects participate in selection);

- Do not select draw objects (graphic objects are not considered).

To set selection criteria of graphic objects it is necessary to choose from the list one of above lines.

For a choice of composition of displayed nomenclature sheets it is necessary to activate the Sheets bookmark of Map contents dialog and to set/reset a highlighting of demanded lines in the list of map sheets of works region.

To set a range of numbers of displayed objects it is necessary to choose the Number bookmark of Map contents dialog, to press the button of IDs range and to enter the minimum and maximum values of numbers of map objects.

To set selection criteria of map objects depending on their semantic characteristics, activate the Semantics bookmark of Map contents dialog and press the Selected semantics button.

If you want, for example, to display the objects for which the value of absolute height is more than 100 m, it is necessary to form an expression like this:

    Absolute height > 100.

For formation of similar expressions the table of objects characteristics of the Semantics bookmark is used, consisting of three columns: Semantics name, Condition and Value.

To add the name of semantics into the table it is necessary to use the Append button or double-click the mouse in the Semantics name column. In response the dialog box of Semantics choice will open, where the choice of a name of semantic characteristic is carried out. By double mouse click or pressing button Choice the highlighted line of the semantics list is entered into the Semantics name column of the Semantics bookmark. Thus, into the Condition column the sign = is entered, into the Value column - the first value of the classifier of values, if classifiers of values are set for the chosen characteristic. In a case when for the chosen characteristic there are no classifiers of values or it is necessary to choose not first value of the classifier, the column Value needs editing.

For editing a value of semantic characteristic it is necessary to do double mouse click in the Value column. If for chosen semantics in RSC-file the classifier of values of the semantic characteristic is not set, then the desired value is entered directly into the third column of the table. End of editing - pressing the Enter key. Otherwise, the value is selected from a list of possible values of the classifier.

For editing a condition of the choice it is necessary to do double mouse click in the Condition column of characteristics of Semantics bookmark, and then to choose the required conditions from the list of possible conditions. The meaning of the conditions list signs are the following:

! = value of semantic characteristic is not equal to the preset one;

* any value of the given characteristic is admissible;

< value of semantic characteristic is less than the preset one;

<= value of semantic characteristic is no more than the preset one;

= value of semantic characteristic is equal to the preset one;

> value of semantic characteristic is more than the preset one;

> = value of semantic characteristic is not less than the preset one;

х    for this characteristic any value is forbidden.

To set the parameters of selection of map objects by their spatial characteristics (measurements) activate the Measurement bookmark of Map contents dialog and press the button Selected measurements. It is necessary to put a measurement kind into the table of measurements (length, perimeter, square), its value and the relation operation (condition), for example length (m) > 150.

Can be set both a simple value of object measurement, and a range of values within which there is a specified spatial characteristic of map objects:

1000 <= square (sq.m) <= 5000.

In the latter case to record a double inequality two lines of the measurements table are used: the first line corresponds to the left part of inequality, the second - to the right part.

These criteria are taken into account in the selection only of linear and polygon objects.

Storing your settings is performed by pressing the Show button of Map contents window.

In Map contents window there is available a means of creating several models (variants) of objects selection. To use it, you should specify criteria of objects selection by the way described above, activate the Model bookmark, press the Create button and enter a model name. The created model is put into the list of models of displaying the given work region. Choosing from the list one or another model, it is possible to set a view of displaying a map corresponding to it. The list of models display cannot contain more than 256 models.

Upon termination of a session of Panorama system the models of objects selection are saved and restored at the next startup.
