Panorama Imagery Service is the service of Windows Service intended for maintenance of spatial data (tiles) in an actual state. This service carries out intelligent updating a bank of spatial data (BSD) (tiles) at the expense of synchronizing the information between spatial objects of digital vector maps, raster or matrix data and a tile base.

Access to bank of the spatial data can be implemented as directly (the data is on the local computer or in a network), and through the GIS Server with division of access rights and data protection.

The list of data and their properties are stored on the server in the file of parameters IMGService.xml. Creation and editing a file of parameters is carried out by the administrator of service. Lists of passwords are stored in the file of parameters in the encrypted form using the algorithm MD5.

All actions of service with the data are recorded into the text protocol of program's work - ImgService.log. This file is located in the folder with the program Panorama Imagery Service.

Panorama Imagery Service is started automatically at start of the operating system and can operate around the clock unlimited time can and perform process of updating the data at the appointed time.
