Registration of users

To access the server the user at the beginning of the work must enter a user name and password.

After connecting the user its name appears in the list of users on the main form of the server.

The registration information for users (both successful and erroneous) are written in a text protocol of the program - \ LOG \ gisserver.log.

Example of writing in the protocol:

- ---> 9:57:52 AM Start GIS Server 06/03/2008  

        09:59:02 [01] Connection with a server is open.

                       9:59:02 AM [01] Error registration of the user. User = WORKER77:Smirnov

        9:59:14 AM [01] Registration of the user. User = WORKER77:Ivanov

In square brackets after the time the serial number of the connected user from 1 - [01] is specified. In User field the name of a computer and through a colon - a name of the user are specified.

The list of users, the list of data and their properties are stored on a server in a file of parameters GISSERVER.XML.

Creation and editing the file of parameters is carried out by the administrator of a server by means of the special program - GIS Administrator 2011.

The password of the user is stored and transferred in the ciphered kind by MD5 algorithm. At loss of the password it will be appointed by administrator anew.
