Subdivision of map to printed pages

The task of dividing a map on the printed pages is intended for preparation of printed pages of the atlas. The task carries out breakdown of data of an electronic map (vector, raster and matrix maps) onto a set of a map fragments (pages) according to the specified parameters.

Preparation of printed pages of the atlas is carried out in the following order:

- construction of chart of atlas pages;

- interactive editing the chart of pages;

- numeration of atlas pages;

- interactive editing the numbers of pages;

- construction of alphabetical index;

- formation of atlas pages;

- print of atlas page.

By preparing the pages chart of atlas the classifier FRAMEPRN.RSC is used, containing special objects (Margins of page of the atlas, Internal area of page, Zone of the atlas page, Zone name of atlas page, etc.) and semantics (Zone name of atlas page, Number of the atlas page, etc.).
