Feature

Effect on displaying in the map

Disable sign reduction

If a feature of disabling the reduction of the sign is assigned, then when the map is reduced, the size of the sign corresponds to the nominal size.

Expand sign by metric

When assigning this feature, the size of the sign increases and decreases in proportion to the change in the scale of the map. The points of the baseline of the sign are aligned with the points of the object metric.

Disable sign rotation

When this attribute is assigned, the view of the sign does not depend on the position of the second point of the object. If in the vector sign editor the image of the ssign is vertical (perpendicular to the baseline), then the sign is drawn vertically on the map.

Enable sign mirroring

When assigning this feature, the type of sign depends on the position of the second point of the object. If the second point is located to the right of the first point, then the sign is displayed in its usual form (as in the vector sign editing dialog). If the second point is on the left, then the sign is mirrored.

Center sign on metric

When assigning this feature, the position of the sign depends on the position of two points of the object. The anchor point of the sign is aligned with the center of the segment formed by the metric points of the vector object.

Disable sign color change by semantics

Usually, if the object semantics has the service semantics «Color of displayed sign RGB» (code 31002), when displayed on the map, the vector sign is colored in the color specified in the 31002 semantics. If you assign the feature of disabling the color change, the sign is displayed in the original colors.

Do not flip text

When applying a vector symbol with any inclination angle containing text elements with a prohibition on flipping to a map, the signature is drawn from left to right, for vertical signatures - from bottom to top.

When assigning a no-flip flag to a text element, this element is underlined with a red line (in the symbol elements table).

Text element specifying the width of thecharacter

This property allows you to take into account the length of the text when displaying the sign. If the text does not fit between the points indicated on the sign diagram (in the sign editing dialog), then the sign expands. In this case, the linear and areal contours of the sign are stretched in width. A vector sign can have several text elements that affect the width of the sign.

Element maintaining proportions

This property allows you to maintain the proportions of the element when expanding the sign. When assigning a property to an element, it is necessary to take into account that by sign expansion, the binding of all linear and area elements (the first point of the metric) is always shifted in proportion to the sign expansion coefficient relative to the sign binding point. The position of the remaining points of the elements metric depends on the property of preserving the proportions of the element. If enabled, the element retains its shape. Otherwise, the element is stretched or compressed in width (a circle becomes an ellipse, a square becomes a rectangle). For saving the relative position of several proportional elements, it is necessary to place the first points of these elements on the same vertical (the X coordinate must be the same). For example, a «cross» figure should have three lines: vertical and two horizontal (from the center to the left, from the center to the right). The «square» figure should be drawn from the middle of the side. The first point of the contour is the anchor point of the element that maintains proportions.
