Finding intersections

The «Finding intersections» mode is intended for searching/selecting objects from List 2 by List 1.

Modes of operation

	Find objects	The mode is designed to find objects that meet the search conditions
	Select objects	The mode is intended for selecting objects that meet the search conditions
	View objects	The mode is designed to include/exclude list objects into the search result

	Find crossing	Search of intersecting objects is performed in accordance with the selected type of crossing
	Find by first point	Search of objects of the List 2 that begin in objects of the List 1. From the List 1 only linear and polygon objects are selected
	Find by last point	Search of objects of the List 2 that are ended in objects of the List 1. From the List 1 only linear and polygon objects are selected

To search for intersections, you must specify the type of intersection:

- Inside

- Crossings and outside

- Matching contours

- Crossing and touch

- Crossing

- WholeInside

- WholeOutside

Results of intersections

№	Crossing type	Work description	Examples
1	Inside	Objects of both lists are selected that have a touch or crossing of any type
2	Crossings and outside	Objects of both lists that have tangency or non-intersecting objects are selected. This mode can be used to search for islands that are outside water bodies, or intersect their contour
3	Matching contours	This mode is used to find objects with coincident contours
4	Crossing and touch	Objects of both lists are selected that have tangency or crossing of contours
5	Crossing	Objects of both lists with crossing of contours are selected
6	WholeInside	Objects of list 1, located inside list 2, without touching the contours are selected
7	WholeOutside	Objects of list 1, located outside of list 2, without touching the contours are selected

Search by distance

To search by distance, you must specify the distance and search condition.
