Cut the objects being created and edited along the sheet frame. With the cutting mode enabled, objects placed in the working area, consisting of multiple sheets, will automatically be cut into fragments bounded by the sheet frames. The presence of sheet frames is mandatory.

Trim the objects being created and edited along the sheet frame. With the trimming mode enabled, objects placed in the working area, consisting of multiple sheets, will automatically be trimmed along the sheet frame where the first entered point of the object is located.

Do not cut the objects being created and edited along the sheet frame, but record them entirely on the sheet where the first entered point of the object is located. — Request for the semantics of the created object. If there is no need to enter attribute characteristics of the object at the time of its creation, the request for entering semantics can be disabled, then the mandatory characteristics of the object will be automatically filled with default values.

3D metrics. Formation of three-dimensional metrics of the created object with a request for heights from the relief model. When this mode is enabled and the relief model is open, three coordinates — X, Y, H are recorded in the object's metrics.

Placing intersection points of the created object with other objects. Activating this mode when creating linear and area objects triggers the automatic placement of intersection points of the created object with all visible objects on the map that intersect it. When the checkbox in the With selected objects field is checked, only the marked objects are involved in the creation of intersection points.

Trace. Switching on of this mode at creation of linear and polygon object causes continuous recording of metrics vertexes with the step specified in Step of Trace parameter in the Sizes and tolerances group. Continuous recording of the metrics vertexes is made at moving the mouse with the pressed left button.

Autoscroll at the edge of the map. Enabling this mode when creating a linear and areal object causes the map to move when the point being created is closer than 20 pixels from the edge of the map window. In this case, the point being edited will be in the center of the map window.

No map border editing. Editing of a map sheet border is recommended to do in exclusively rare cases because the border determines position of a sheet in external system of coordinates and any editing of a border can lead to undesirable consequences.

Editing objects group. At switching on of this mode the functions of moving and deleting can work both with separate objects, and with the groups of objects created by means of a set of modes of the auxiliary Set panel.

Show statistics of the created object. At switching on of this mode at creation and editing of linear and area objects into a status bar (in the bottom part of a window of system) the help information on edited (created) object is deduced — the number of vertexes, length, area, perimeter, radius, direction of the last line, etc). At editing big objects (some tens thousand vertexes) is expedient to switch off the given option as constant recalculation of object characteristics appreciably influences speed of the cursor moving.

Complementary cursors. By means of this mode it is possible to include use of additional cursors of the map editor meaning the executed operation.

Subsidiary panels. Inclusion of this mode activates additional panels of modes for various modes of object creating.

Unselect object after saving. A cancelling of selection of the written down object. If necessary it is possible to cancel selection of object after the termination of the previous operation of editing.

Date, Time of last Modification. If the property Keep the date and time of updating objects is set in the map passport, then when creating and editing any objects, the time of the operation and the name of the operator (user) in the system will be recorded into their semantics. If this property is not set, then you can enable it for the session in the Map Editor Options.

Copy invalid semantics. When changing the view (conditional sign and object code), invalid semantics (not specified in the classifier for the object) will be deleted if this property is disabled.

Copy label text to semantics 9. When creating and editing titles, the value of the label text will be copied to the semantics with code 9 if this property is enabled.

Join tolerance influences a work of modes: Joining objects and Merge objects. Criterion of extraction of an edited object's vertex onto adjacent object is its position not further of join tolerance from this object.

Filtering level. Value of a filtering level influences a degree of a filtration (coarsening) of edited object's metrics. A filtering level — distance from a vertex of object up to a  segment connecting its previous and next vertices at which one the given vertex will be deleted. Recommended value is 0.1.

Width of parallel line (zone). By means of value of a zone width the width of created object — a parallel line is regulated. Value of width of a zone can be changed also by means of keys «+» and «-» (in the right part of the keyboard). Measurement unit of the entered size gets out of the list the Unit of measure (millimeters on Map, meters on Ground).

Step of Trace is used at continuous recording of the metrics vertexes in a mode of trace.

Radius of seizing in pixels is used at creating object in case of inclusion of modes: Take vertex, Take line.

Move marked objects. Defines amount and structure of displayed objects of moved group of the marked objects.

Spline defines type of a created spline.

Static (to store all vertexes) at creation of a spline all vertexes describing it are entered into the metrics of object. The further editing is carried out for each vertex of object.

Dynamic (only reference points) — at creation of a spline into the metrics of object are entered only reference (rotary) points. The further editing is carried out for reference points, and the spline is dynamically reconstructed.

Vertex in spline — a maximum quantity of the points describing a rotary point at creating of a static spline.

Spline order — a degree of curvature of a static enveloping spline.
