Semantics Structure

Semantic data about an object begins with a record of the form:

.SEM number_of_characteristics

The number of characteristics is a positive integer.

This is followed by the description of each characteristic in the form:

Characteristic_code Characteristic_value

The characteristic code is an integer from 0 to 65535.

The characteristic value is any symbolic expression including numbers, letters, spaces, and special symbols (+ - . / and so on).

An object may not have semantic characteristics; in this case, the record with the SEM keyword may be omitted.

After the description of the object's semantics comes the description of the next object (.OBJ) or the end of the data set (.END).
