Sign the shortest distance to selected features

This mode is intended for drawing dimension lines on the map corresponding to the shortest distance from the selected objects to the specified linear object. To create dimension lines, you need to select objects on the map for which you want to draw dimension lines. Then press the mode button and indicate on the map an object, the distance to which you want to calculate.

The program calculates the shortest distances in a straight line from the border of the selected objects to the specified (selected) map object. The result of calculations is put on the map in the form of a linear object and a signature of its length. The calculated distance value is written into the semantics of a linear object.

When drawing, the options of «Geodesy editor» on the «Editor» page are used.
