Abbreviation of reference and character semantics

Abbreviation of reference  semantics is performed according to the table of allowable semantics for the specified semantics. For example, for the value "1" of semantics with code 55, the classifier indicates the full name "ASPHALT", short - "A". If the recording format is "#55" (Coating material), then the full name is selected; if the recording format is "#55.s" - the short one.

Abbreviation of character semantics is performed according to the table of admissible semantics for service semantics 32858 (List of abbreviations). For example, for the value "1" of semantics with code 32858, the classifier indicates the full name “birch”, and the short name "ber". If the recording format has the form "#9" (Name), then the value is not abbreviated; if the format is "#9.s" or "#9.w", the text of semantics 9 is replaced by a short one.
