Inactive semantics

Grey semantics can be loaded from external databases. If necessary, grey semantics can be added to the list of allowed semantics using the classifier editor on the Objects → Semantics tab.

Grey semantics with six-digit codes are not described in the map classifier. To use these semantics in search and computational tasks, for map design, or when preparing a map for publication, you must classify such semantics. If the corresponding semantics are absent in the classifier, add them using the classifier editor on the Semantics tab. To change a semantic's six-digit code to a code registered in the classifier, select the map objects containing this semantic and replace its code using the mode: Map Editor → Edit Semantics → Change Semantic Code.
