ic_490.png_mtwcut The task is designed to obtain one or more matrix map files from the original matrixes of document.

Several matrix maps open in the document can serve as the source material. The elevation at a specific point is taken from the most accurate matrix covering the given area. The task allows smoothing the surface being formed by averaging the elevations of the original matrices.

There are two processing modes, which can be configured on the corresponding tabs:

by selected objects;

by specified frame.

The parameters of the matrixes being created are set in the «Addition parameters» group.

You can change the scale, accuracy (element size) and the unit of measurement of elevation of the matrix being created.

The «Elevation unit» parameter affects the compression ratio of matrix data when writing to a file (millimeters - lower compression ratio, meters - maximum).

The «Not use elevations outside of input matrix border» mode is designed to clean elements located outside the frame of the original matrix. If this mode is enabled, then elements outside the frame of the original matrix are not transferred to the resulting matrix.

The «Set border by selected object» mode is used when processing by selected objects to set the selected object's contour as the frame of the matrix being created.

The «Set border» mode is used when processing by specified area to set the frame of the original matrix as the frame of the matrix being formed.

The «Smoothing of elevations» mode is designed to enter averaged elevations into the resulting matrix.

This eliminates sharp differences in elevations resulting surface, but increases the execution time of the task.

The average elevation value is calculated using the original elevations requested within a 4 by 4 elements square area  of the resulting matrix.
