To sign rotary points of object

clip0193 The mode creates point objects and their labels at each turning (corner) point of the metric of the object specified on the map. To activate the mode, you need to press the Label turning points of object button and select an object on the map. It is possible to select a linear or area object. To process several objects simultaneously, you need to select objects on the map and press the mode button. The Formation of characteristic point labels for boundaries dialog appears on the screen.

In the dialog, the following parameters can be set for creating points and their labels:

1. In the Parameters of created label group, the following are configured:

Step for iterating through nodal points of the metric in the Create label for every 'specify number' turning point element. By default, the program iterates through all points, step = 1.

Label placement relative to the contour (left or right of the object contour, considering the digitization direction). This is set using the "Label placement" dropdown element.

Distance in millimeters from the turning point of the object to the label.

2. In the Characteristic point designation group, the following are configured:

The need to use the "Proper name" semantic value of existing point objects — boundary markers located at the metric nodes of the processed object. If the flag is set, the text of the created label is formed based on the semantic value of the boundary marker.

Action procedure when a boundary marker is present. If the do not place new point on map element is active, then when a boundary marker is present, a new point object is not created. If the do not place new label on map element is active, then when a boundary marker is present, a new label is not created.

Action procedure when there is no boundary marker at the object's metric node. The number for the 1st point is used to fill the semantics of the created point object and the text of the created label. Additionally to the number, a prefix and postfix of the point designation are used. If the "start numbering each of the selected objects from the number for 1st point" element is active, then the designation of each object will start from 1. Otherwise, continuous numbering of all objects will be used. The labels of internal objects (continuous numbering within the external object) element is designed to create point signs and labels for objects located inside the processed object. For example, buildings inside a land plot, or objects inside a restricted zone.

3. In the Object creation methods group, the following are configured:

Label application method, with a choice of one of three options.

First — one point — one label. As a result of the operation, one point sign and one label are created for each turning point.

Second — composite label. Point signs are also created as separate objects. The designation text of all points is formed as a composite label — a label with sub-objects. For the first turning point, a label object is created, for all other points labels are created as sub-objects of the label. As a result, labels are visually placed on the map the same way as when creating separate labels, but are selected as one object.

Third — points and labels are included in a single set with the object. The main object of the set is the map object for which turning points and their labels are created.

If the copy semantics of source object to points element is active, then the created point objects are filled with a set of semantics identical to the semantic values of the processed object.

4. In the Editable map element, there is a possibility to select a map for applying the results of the mode operation. The editable map can be selected from the list of open maps.

5. In the Select object type group, the types of created objects — point signs and labels — are configured, as well as elements for quickly disabling the creation of labels or point objects.
