The inactive view of fields of dialog Generalization parameters, containing the directory and names of parameters files, indicates that there is no corresponding data on the disk in the specified directories. GIS Panorama program allows you to work in a multi-window mode. In several windows of the program different maps can be opened. If you activate a window containing a map that is not intended for processing (located in a directory other than the catalog of processed map), the communication of the generalisation software with the parameters files is violated. When the window containing the processed map is activated, the link of generalisation software with the parameters files is restored. A map with a classifier other than the classifier of the processed map or located in a directory different from the directory of the processed map is considered not to be processed. In the source directory of the processed map, the generalization parameter file (Topogen.ini) is formed. At the end of the recoding process, the processed (output) map is formed in the Topogen sub-directory (relative to the source one). Generalization parameters dialog contains a registration list of generalization processes. The registration list is intended for displaying the list of generalization processes in the order of execution. Serial number of the executed stage of generalization corresponds to number of a map backup copy (SXF-file in the Topogen directory), executed before execution of the given stage. When you perform a cleaning of registration list, the logical connection to SXF files is lost. If there is no need to store backup copies of the map, SXF files in the Topogen directory can be deleted. For removal of the out-of-date information before the beginning of formation of each new nomenclature sheet of a map of output scale, it is recommended that you clear the registration list and delete the backup copies of the map.
