In the Image bookmark the adjustment of visual parameters of a created cartogram is made.

Data of this bookmark depends on the chosen type of created cartogram.

The choice of type of a created cartogram is made by pressing the corresponding button.

At creation of a color cartogram (Fill button) elements of control of color spectrum are accessible:

-         Type of a color cartogram (gradient, mosaic).

-         Quantity of the primary colors participating in construction of a gradient color cartogram, and also a ruler of primary colors of a gradient. The corresponding color can be changed "having click" on it by mousy in a ruler. Admissible quantity of used primary colors on 1 less than quantities of gradation, but no more than seven.

-         Means for change of brightness of a color palette (decrease, increase).

-         Button "Repaint". For a gradient palette pressing this button means return of a palette to an initial condition (reset of changes of brightness). For a mosaic palette - selection of a new casual palette.

Image bookmark contains two graphic rulers: a ruler of colors distribution (it shows the distribution of colors of the chosen palette according to the entered ranges) and a ruler (histogram) of values distribution. The histogram of values shows distribution of processable objects (quantity) on the established ranges of values (the more objects corresponds to a range of values, the more longly a line).

Image ruler contains control facilities by values ranges:

Each line of the Intervals table in the first column contains the graphic image corresponding to an interval depending on chosen type of the created cartogram and parameters of a current interval of values.

In case of a color cartogram the color corresponding to a concrete interval can be changed "having clicked" by mousy above changeable color. In case of a shaped and dot cartogram the image depends on adjustment of the general and current parameters.

Following parameters belong to Common parameters (relating to all ranges): Contour (presence and color), Background (presence and color), Line color (grids or points) and Scale.

Following parameters belong to the Current parameters: Step (between lines of shading and points), Line thick (lines of shading and points) and Type of shading.

Columns From …, To … and Title may be edited, that allows to enter the minimal, maximal value of each interval and the text by which the corresponding element of a legend will be signed.

The quantity of Gradation defines quantity of intervals of values, elements of a legend and admissible quantity of used primary colors of a gradient's filling.

Min defines the minimal value of the first range.

Interval defines the size of values range.

The maximum is calculated according to the entered values of a minimum, quantity of gradation and values of an interval. It is not edited. It serves for an estimation of conformity of the established total range of values to the real value (Real Max). Real maximal value is calculated by the analysis of the initial information (the maximal value of the semantic characteristic or a field of the table, specified in Value).

The minimal and maximal values in ranges of values, and also titles of numerical values on cartograms and a legend are made with quantity of signs after a comma, corresponding to the value established in a field "Precision".
