Editing of material's attributes |
Material can be specified in the Description of object. The basic properties of a material are defined by three colors: color at illumination, color in shadows and color of flash. Color can be entered by 3 ways: to choose color from standard dialog of color (it is called by pressing onto rectangle of color), to enter RGB values (red, green and dark blue components) in interval from 0 up to 255 or to enter factors: diffuse, ambient and specular in interval from 0 up to 1. At input by any way other fields are recalculated. The active radio-button shows, what color at the moment is entered component-wise or with help of factors. To the left of colors two blocking buttons are located. If buttons are in the pressed condition, corresponding colors are changed together. The most convenient way of creation of a new material is the following: to press both blocking buttons, to choose by pressing onto rectangle of color the color at illumination (all three colors thus are identical), to remove blocking, to choose by pressing onto rectangle of color the color in a shadow by way of darkening of primary color, to choose by pressing onto rectangle of color the color of flash by way of brightening of primary color, choose suitable value of shine. By pressing "Save" button the material will be saved and dialog will be closed. User can choose as basis any of standard materials from the list of materials, change and write down it as a material of object. If the material is supposed to use for several objects, it is possible to enter the name for it and to write down a new material into the list ("Record as" button). It is possible to correct also a name or properties of anyone beforehand written down material and to save corrections ("Record" button). If the object has texture, the material is united with a texture. For convenience the image of texture can be disconnected.
