Split to CMYK

The task forms four one-bit images of the vector and raster information of a map for reception of printed forms in PCX or BMP format. Further printed forms can be used at printing by offset method. Forming of one-bit images is carried out by a method of amplitude modulation (regular filling with round dots of the variable size).

The chosen name of PCX-file is a base name of a received set of files. At a choice of Picture.pcx name the files: Picture-C.pcx, Picture-M.pcx, Picture-Y.pcx, Picture-K.pcx are formed. Suffixes added to a base name define contained in them color- separation images of channels of CMYK model (cyan (blue), magenta (lilac), yellow, black).

For creation of the image the following parameters are set:

Scale of the formed image;

Precision of the output device (from 2032 dots per inch). The size of the precision should be equal to the precision of the device on which making the printed form (plastic) will be made;

Calibration allows to stretch (values from 1.0001 up to 1.1) or to compress (values from 0.9 up to 0.9999) the linear sizes of the image on vertical and horizontal axes. Calibration factor is equal to the relation of the linear size of the image received on the output device to the theoretical size.

Frequency of a raster (spatial frequency of points; from 120 up to 230 lines per inch). The size of a frequency depends on opportunities of the printed equipment used for print of issue imprint . The step of lines (a lattice of dots), which is equal to the relation of the precision to a frequency, defines amount of transmitted image shades of each of channels of color model CMYK. Amount of shades is equal to a square of lines step. For example, at installation of the precision of 2032 (d/inch) and frequency of 203 (l/inch) amount of transmitted shades is equal 100 (10*10);

Angles of slope of a raster are established for each channel of color model CMYK (from 0 up to 89.9 degrees). Standard values of angles (Cyan - 15, Magenta - 75, Yellow - 0, Black - 45) are set by default;

Fill Intensity of polygon objects (from 1 up to 100 percents) defines proportional decrease of intensity of all components of color of filling points concerning initial color;

Fields Width and Height display overall dimensions of the received image in millimeters, Size of files field contains the total size, occupied with four files of the image in mbytes.

Mirror and Negative options allow to save the image in the view, ready to reception of the printed form.

The choice of area of the formed image is made by means of buttons:

All region - area of displaying is calculated automatically in view of all open data (vector and raster maps and matrixes of heights) in one window;

Select - a choice of rectangular area is made by two consecutive pressing of the left mouse button  in the map window;

Change - change of rectangular area (moving of borders or the area) is made by pressing of the left mouse button (at change of kind of the mouse cursor) and its retention in the pressed position.
