Additional printing parameters |
List of printers - the list of the installed devices. Mode of Ppint properties - configuring parameters of the device.
Output type mode Vector - output of only vector information. Raster - output of vector, raster and matrix information. Vector for PostScript - an alternative output of the vector information. It is intended for creation of PostScript-files by means of driver of the PostScript-compatible device of an output (print). Printing mode Normal - output of the image with change of intensity of a continuous solid of area objects, is intended for output onto color and grayscale raster output devices. Transparent - output of the image without a continuous solid of area objects, is intended for output to any (including one-colour and vector) output devices. Outline - output of the image by outline lines, is intended for output to any output devices. Fill intensity - change of intensity of displaying a map palette (transparency). Mode Black-and-white . In this printing mode all colors of filling of the polygon objects of vector maps, except for black, are replaced with white. Colors of rasters and matrixes remain unchanged. Orientation of print page: Portrait - vertical arrangement of page. Landscape - horizontal arrangement of page. Mirror image mode is carried out only in a raster mode of output. Margins of a print page are specified in millimeters from the pages margins (left, top, right, bottom). Margins can be entered manually at the bottom of the dialog, and with the help of horizontal and vertical rule boxes. Overlaps of print areas of the next pages of multisheet map are intended for exception of gleams at pasting pages. Margins and overlaps reduce useful output area of page, increasing thus the common size of output area. Offset of the image is specified in millimeters from left and top margins of the first page (the left top page). Print frame of area - allows to print a thickened black outline of the assigned printing area (it is marked by blue line on the scheme). Print cut lines - allows to print thin black cut lines. Print to file - allows to create the printing file on the language which is supported by the printing device. The received file may be sent to the printer later by using of the DOS command: PRINT /D:"\\Kruzhkov\HP LaserJet 1020" Noginsk.prn > nul
All actions, associated with changes in map location on the page, taking into account the margins, offsets, overlaps, change of output scale is recommended to perform in schematic mode, as well as a map in the preview is displayed in the printer's form, which leads to long redrawing the map. Schematic mode is a set of pages or one page, depending on the selected mode (Split to page, Fit to page, Accord to page). On the page the printed area is displayed as a gradient fill, contoured by frame of gray color. Page selection is carried out by holding the Shift or Ctrl key and pressing the left mouse button. Selected pages can be displayed in schematic form, as well as a map. For this purpose it is necessary to call the menu by the right mouse button click and to choose a corresponding mode Display of pages: - enable; - reset. Also, the mode of pages display may be switched by double clicking the left mouse button on the page. Scaling the image is implemented by using the arrow keys <>. To speed up redrawing the map, you must configure Map contents in the Map print dialog, located on the drop-down panel on the right. This panel is a set of user maps that make up the main map. To enable / disable the displaying layer you need to install / remove «checkmark» in the appropriate field and click the button Update . To activate / deactivate all layers need to install / remove «checkmark» in the map. Maximum number of pages to be displayed is 100. In the status bar of the Map print dialog information is displayed: - number of pages (in brackets the actual number of pages, calculated on the basis of scale - can exceed 100 pages); - number of selected pages (list of selected pages, separated by commas, for example: 2,4); - page size in mm; - resolution of the device; - required disk space.
