For matrix area calculation the matrix name is necessary to choose from the List of matrixes. The area of object, rectangular area, polygon can be calculated on a concrete matrix or to include a mode All matrixes - calculation will be made on a matrix with the least size of an element. Accuracy of calculations depends on a step of interpolation (a step of object division on compound elementary squares with the given length of the side). Value of this parameter for object, rectangular area, polygon is established in a corresponding window. At calculation of the matrix area the information about relief is requested from a map with step that multiple to the size of the matrix element. The given mode process only area and the closed linear objects that completely (on all area) provided by the data of heights. At calculation of the area for objects that have inside subobjects belonging to object the subobject area is subtracted from the object area. Value of an interpolation step and matrix number are kept in file PANORAMA.INI and restored at the subsequent loading.

The mode makes calculation of the area for the specified region (all matrix, object, rectangular area, an any polygon) according to a matrix of heights or matrixes of layers.
