Searching objects by query |
At searching objects by query you should use following searching parameters: - map layer and object type, - object class, - map sheet (Nomenclatures), - range of object IDs, - object attributes (semantics).
Map classifier define full list of map layers, object classes, object types, object attributes. To set map layer for search, you should actuate Layer window of Search by query dialog and select needed layer in the list by mouse. To set map object type for search, you should actuate Type window of Search by query dialog and select needed type in the list by mouse. To set object class for search, you should actuate Object window of Search by query dialog and select needed object class in the list by mouse. To set map sheet for search, you should actuate Map sheets window of Search by query dialog and select needed map sheet in the list by mouse. To set range of searching object IDs you should actuate Object IDs window of Search by query dialog pess ID range button and set minimum and maximum ID of map objects. To set criterion for object searching based on their attributes actuate Semantic windows group: Name, Condition, Value of Search by query dialog. For example if you want to search objects that have absolute elevation > 100m you need to build an expression like this: Absolute elevation > 100.
Use double mouse click in Name window for addition semantic name. In the answer the dialog box Semantics will open, where choice of a semantic characteristic name is doing. On double click of the mouse or pressing Done button highlighted string of the semantics list is recorded in Name window of Semantic group. At that an equal sign is recorded in Condition window of Semantic group, in Value window of Semantic group - the first value of the values classifier, if the values classifier is installed for the selected characteristic. In a case, when there are no values classifiers for selected characteristic or it is necessary to select not the first value of the classifier, the Value window requires editing. Use double mouse click in Value window for editing semantic characteristic value. If there are no values classifiers for a selected semantic in RSC-file the required value is entered directly in Value window. Press Enter key for finish of editing. Otherwise value is selected from the classifier possible values list.
Use double mouse click in Condition window of Semantic group for editing selection condition, and then select required conditions from the possible conditions list. The meaning of the conditions list signs are following: ! = semantic characteristic value is not equally preset; * any given characteristic value is allowed; < semantic characteristic value is less preset; < = semantic characteristic value is no more preset; = semantic characteristic value equally preset; > semantic characteristic value is more preset; > = semantic characteristic value is not less preset; x any value is forbidden for given characteristic.
