Construction of drainage area

Constructing a zone of drainage of area of the specified basin can be performed in the presence of a matrix of a relief of the basin bottom. Construction is performed within the polygon object of hydrography chosen by the user (lake, storage reservoir, etc.).

Dialog of construction of drainage area:

For construction of a zone the user sets the Level of lift - size of lowering a water level relative to the level of a surface of the selected polygon object of hydrography.

In the course of construction there are calculated:

- upper level of the water surface;

- lower level of the water surface (the difference between the upper level and a lowering value).

As a result of construction the matrix of the qualities is created, which size of an element is equal to the element size of a matrix of the bottom relief.

Into area of a matrix of qualities where the bottom's relief is located below the lower level of a water surface the values of quality are not entered.

Matrix of drainage area:

Into area of a matrix of qualities where the bottom's relief is located above the bottom level of the water surface the differences of the upper level of water surface and height of the bottom topography are recorded.

Thus into a matrix the "depths" of the drained area are placed.
