Building sites for homogeneous zones DEM |
This task is intended for constructing on the user map the homogeneous zones according to data of digital elevation matrix (DEM) or a of matrix of qualities. Homogeneous zone is the area on a map in which the elevation (in case of a matrix of elevations on the input) or some other value (in case of a matrix of qualities on the input) accept the values lying in some user-defined range. Results of the program's work will be put onto the created user map in the form of polygon objects. For the task's work it is necessary that with a map at least one matrix of elevations or a matrix of qualities has been opened. From the all opened matrixes in the drop-down list you must select the input matrix by which the homogeneous zones will be built. After a choice of the matrix in the fields «Minimum value» and «Maximum value» there are displayed the minimum and maximum values of cells of input matrix. Below these windows the table is located containing information on selected intervals of values which will be used at building homogeneous zones. Below the table there are located the entry fields for the minimum and maximum values for an interval, a field for a choice of color of an interval and 3 buttons - interval editing, addition of a new interval and deleting of the earlier entered interval. More below there is located a field for entering a name of the user map. It should be a name of the new map. If such map was already created, you will receive an error message when you try to start the task for execution. Below a field of a map selection there are located the windows for choosing a type of created polygon objects. The task works with the service.rsc classifier and at a choosing a type of objects the objects from this classifier will be offered.
