Solution of Hansen task |
Task of Hansen. Simultaneous determination of the coordinates of two points P1 and Р2, using coordinates of two starting points 1 both 2 and measured angles В1 В2, В3, В4 at determined points (solution by method of conditional basis).
- coordinates of the first and second starting points (Х1, Y1, Х2, Y2), numbered counter-clockwise; - horizontal angles at determined points Р1 and Р2, numbered clockwise.
Accuracy of determining the points coordinates mainly depends on the size of angles at which the line P1-P2 is visible from the starting points. The choice of places of determined points Pi should be made so that in all triangles formed by observed directions and the initial side (between points 1 and 2) there were no angles in size less than 30 °. For control of field measurements and results of calculations it is possible to measure the distance between a pair of defined points and to compare result of measurement with the corresponding distance calculated by coordinates.
