Example of work with BDE Administrator

BDE Administrator program allows to look through, edit and create new BDE drivers of databases of various types (STANDARD type interests us). At installation of BDE onto a computer the BDE Administrator program will be included into structure of the Control panel Windows program.

 The window of the program has two pages: Databases and Configuration.

On Configuration page in its left panel you can choose the driver from Native group - own (native) drivers of various systems. For the chosen driver in the left panel (in our case - PARADOX) it is possible to change any of its parameters, for example LANGDRIVER (the driver of language) and also to be convinced of correctness of installation of NET DIR parameter (the catalogue of location of a network file PARADOX - PDOXUSRS.NET)
