Backup

Backup is performed for database of the metadata and digital maps.

Backup can be performed according to the established schedule or by instructions of the operator.

Backup of the metadata database is performed by means of used DBMS.

Backup of digital maps consists in recording the selected data onto alternative data carriers (for example, DVD or external hard drives) and entering data about date of backup and a location of a backup in base of metadata.
