Program assignment

The program of forming "out-of-frame" bordering is intended for preparation of a separate sheet of an electronic map for creation of its hard copy.

As a rule, for a standard division of maps onto nomenclature sheets, for each separate sheet the presence of the certain elements set of out-of-frame bordering (an external frame, ticks of kilometer grid, the name of a sheet, the nomenclature of a sheet, the nomenclatures of adjacent sheets, etc.) is stipulated. The listed elements can be contained not in the electronic map as separate objects, but they can be added to a map during its preparation to printing as the graphic document.

It is expedient to use this program, when the same elements of out-of-frame bordering repeat for bordering several sheets of an electronic map. For example, the electronic map onto the certain region is created. It is required to receive hard copies of separate nomenclature sheets of a map (map boards) according to established bordering for this type of maps and scale. For realization of this task it is possible to go by two ways.

Firstly, it is possible to prepare each of printable sheets with the help of means of the Map Editor.

However it is possible to create once a template of bordering of a nomenclature sheet (or to use one of delivered in complete set of GIS) and with the help of this template and procedures of out-of-frame bordering to prepare all sheets of region and to print them.

The second way is represented more simple and economic as regards of using working hours and account materials for your printer, as in case each sheet will be bordered independently, you are not insured from occurrence of the random errors, capable to lead to necessities of re-printing a sheet onto the device.

Besides, using the beforehand created template it is easier to sustain all requirements to the sizes of bordering elements.
