Contouring of homogeneous zones |
This task is intended for building homogeneous zones on the user map according to data of a matrix of heights or a matrix of qualities. Homogeneous zone is the area on a map in which height (in case of a matrix of heights on the input) or any other value (in case of a matrix of qualities on the input) accept the values lying in some range, specified by the user. Results of the program's work will be put on the created user map in the form of polygonal objects. For task's work it is necessary that with a map at least one matrix of heights or a matrix of qualities was opened. From all open matrixes in the drop-down list the input matrix is selected by which the homogeneous zones will be built. After a choice of the matrix, in the fields of «Minimum value» and «Maximum value» there are displayed the minimum and maximum values of cells of the input matrix. Below these windows the table is located containing information on chosen intervals of values which will be used at construction of homogeneous zones. Below the table there are located the fields for entering the minimum and maximum values for an interval, a field for a choice of an interval color and 3 buttons - interval editing, addition of a new interval and deleting previously entered interval. Still lower there is a field for entering the name of the user map. The name of a new map should be filled out. If such map is already created, at attempt to run the task the error message will be given. Below the field of a map choice there are located the windows to select the type of created polygon objects. The task works with the classifier service.rsc and in selecting the type of objects the objects from this classifier will be offered. |
