Creation of users and assigning the rights to them

For implementing security policies, creation of users accounts and administration of their rights you must use authorized administration tool of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 - Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio. By default for SQL Server there is one login with a username “sa” with the password specified at installation of SQL server (by default this password is equal “123456”). This login is used for access to any database and has absolutely all rights, beginning with an opportunity of change of data and finishing with change of database structure. It is recommended to assign to this login the own password and to use it only for administration of SQL of a server and application of updatings to the databases, received from developers.
