Raster optimization

Previous Top Next

Optimization mode is used for ordering the heading, blocks of the image and other service structures of a raster after its editing. With use of Compression option the Optimization mode packs blocks of the image, reducing a file volume.

It raises speed of displaying and reduces the data volume on a disk of a raster image's file.

If the user has specified, that it is necessary to cut out a fragment of the image then after execution of the given procedure the target file will contain only the area limited by framework.

If it is specified, that the source file should not be deleted, it will be kept with change of a name. The file of RST format will receive ~RT extension in a name, file RSW - ~RW.

Compression of the image will be carried out only if the user choose a processing type: Compression and optimization.

The source file of RST format will be transformed into RSW format at optimization.

Displaying of files optimized with compression can be slowed down.
