Raster image histogram

ic_0299 The mode is intended for construction and display  the histogram of the raster image fragment. The histogram represents graphic display the  repetition number of each raster palette color  on the document window (in the  selected area).

The mode allows to change the used palette color interval for the purpose of improvement the raster map visualization quality.

It is recommended to apply this mode to rasters with 256 grey gradation at processing the results the air photographic  survey and the space photographic survey.

 

Histogram dialogue description.

The processable raster name is selected from a drop-down raster list in the top dialogue part.

The change of the working interval borders  is carried out at the moving extreme pointers. The raster image brightness is varies at the moving average pointer.

Auto button installs an optimum working interval.

Reset button restores in the initial state:

- brightness and contrast raster palette values;

- graphic raster palette(the palette is loaded from the raster file, instead of  from a service file).

 

At the live mode For all rasters buttons Auto and Reset are actual  for all rasters.

At the live mode Redraw at change the working interval is carried out  a redrawing  the window contents in view of brought changes, at the switched off mode, changes of a working interval are installed by pressing Apply button.

OK button installs all brought changes and closes the dialogue.

Cancel button cancels all brought changes and closes the dialogue.
