Setup of formats of linear and angular sizes for the report

Previous Top Next

In the Geodesy editor task, which is carried out by the Geodesy.dll module, which is called through Run application item of the Tools menu, there is an opportunity to set up format of coordinates.

At creation of the calculated sheet it is necessary to set up a format of representation of coordinates, linear and angular sizes. This procedure can be executed, having called the program Parameters of the project for geodesy and land surveying documentation on panel of tasks (page - "Format of the data") or having called directly from the menu of the task - Geodesy/Options (Format of the data page).

Representation of coordinates in reports most often is regulated by quantity of signs after a point. At use of coordinates with a signature stamp «for service using» (that the system of protection of the program allows) to form reports accessible to a general review, it is necessary with restriction of a quantity of the signs up to a decimal point. The program allows to execute any of the specified settings. For measures of lines the quantity of the signs up to a point is not regulated.

To set a format of linear sizes (coordinate and a measure of lines), the quantity of the signs up to a point and after is necessary to specify, for example: 5.2, where 5 quantity of the signs up to a point; 2 quantity of signs after a point. If it is necessary to give out the valid quantity of the signs up to a point then put ' * ', for example: *.2, where *- the valid quantity of the signs up to a point; 2 quantity of signs after a point.

At the specifying a format of angular sizes the alphabet symbols are used:

 g - degrees; m - minutes; s - seconds;

Between degrees, minutes and seconds the blank is put. The quantity of the whole signs and decimal is divided by a symbol '. '. Most often used formats can be chosen from the drop-down list, having pressed on an arrow in a window of the format specifying.

The sample of the specified format it is possible to see on an example shown to the right of windows of the format specifying.
