Conditions of using and order of execution

The program of forming "out-of-frame" bordering (marginal representation) is applied task of GIS and is started onto execution from the application's list of Tools menu.

Region consisting of one or several sheets sheets should be subjected to processing, however all sheets which are included into bordered region of works should belong to one six-degree zone. At loading into GIS of the works region consisting of sheets, belonging to different zones, the automatic transformation of loaded sheets to coordinates of a zone of the first loaded sheet is made. Forming "out-of-frame" bordering is possible only for the sheets, which are in its own zone. At attempt of processing of the sheet transformed into the current zone, the program will give out the corresponding warning and formation of bordering will not be made.

At creation of elements of out-of-frame designing "by default" standard libraries of conventional symbols and templates of out-of-frame designing are used, which are included in the complete set of delivery GIS. If necessary they can be edited and added.

However it is necessary to observe conformity of the classifier used at bordering and a template of out-of-frame bordering. That is, in the template of bordering there should be references only onto the classification codes, available in the corresponding classifier. Delivered pairs of files are located in the main catalog of the GIS (the catalog which is specified at installation) and have the names corresponding to scales of bordered maps. For example, for bordering a nomenclature sheet of scale 1:50000 the classifier FRM50000.RSC and template of bordering 50000.FRM are used. In case at the moment of start of procedure physically there is no classifier specified "by default" or template of bordering, and also the classifier of the legend, the corresponding line will be highlighted with red color. In this case it is necessary to specify (to choose) really existent files. At creation of out-of-frame designing it will be done an automatic copying of classifiers of out-of-frame designing of a file into a directory where the design user map is created. In this connection it is necessary to remember, that in case you have made any changes into library of design conventional symbols (for example, have changed a view of object) after bordering a map, it means, that changes are brought into a file which is located in a directory where the map lays and for further use of the changes, made by you, for bordering other sheets, you should update (to copy) the corresponding file which is located in the main catalog of the GIS. At repeated bordering of a sheet the query about replacement of classifier already existing in the design catalog is given out. The operator can refuse replacement and use for replacement earlier used classifier. In case in the main dialog of procedure the option «Query about replacement of classifiers» is switched off, classifiers will be replaced without queries.

As a result of processing in the catalog where the bordered map is located, catalog FRAME is formed, into which the report of processing of region (file FRAME.LOG) is located. Besides, in FRAME catalog for each bordered sheet the catalog is formed, which name corresponds to the nomenclature of a bordered sheet (further - the catalog of a sheet bordering). In the catalog of a sheet bordering during processing the program forms for each bordered sheet two new user maps (a map of the rotated sheet and a map of out-of-frame bordering) and on one user map onto each legend specified in a template of bordering. The map of the rotated sheet (SHEET.SIT) is formed by the classifier of a bordered map, the map of out-of-frame bordering (FRAME.SIT) is formed by the classifier specified in the main dialog of procedure, maps of legends (L … .SIT) are formed by the classifiers specified in templates of legends (files *.LBL). Classifiers used for creation of corresponding legends at the moment of forming of out-of-frame bordering should be present at the main catalog of the GIS. The name of a created map of a legend is formed automatically: L_nNAME.SIT, where n - a serial number of a legend for a bordered sheet, NAME - a file name of a template of a corresponding legend, for example, L1_r25000 - for a bordered sheet the first legend created by a template r25000. LBL.

During forming a map of the rotated sheet the turn of an initial sheet around of the south - western corner of a frame is made up to achievement of an arrangement of south - western and the south - east corners of a frame on one horizontal straight line.

If in the main window of procedure the option «Warnings of execution errors» is switched off, error messages on the screen will not be deduced, however into the report all messages will be placed.
